Brahms für alle: Bockester Hannover gastiert mit zwei Sinfonien in der Celler Stadkirche
On November 8, the Bockester Hannover will perform Johannes Brahms’s Second and Third Symphonies in Celle; admission is free—“pay what you can”
Two symphonies, two different facets of Johannes Brahms: In early November, the Bockester Hannover will perform the Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 73, and the Symphony No. 3 in F major, Op. 90. Both works will be performed on November 8 at St. Marien City Church in Celle, and earlier, on November 6 and 7, 2026, at St. Johannis Court and City Church in Hannover.
The Bockester is composed of semiprofessional musicians and ambitious amateurs from Hanover and the surrounding region. Tammo Azam serves as the musical director.
