Herzogin Sophie Dorothea bittet zum Tanz: Mitmach-Konzert für Kinder

On November 28, 2026, the Celle Chamber Orchestra would like to transport children back to court life during the time of Princess Sophie Dorothea. In the Knights’ Hall of Celle Castle, dances from that era by Agostino Steffani will be performed. One of the princess’s ladies-in-waiting will recount what life was like for the princess back then. Among other things, the talk will cover courtly manners of the time—as well as fleas.
