Jugendjazzorchester Niedersachsen „Wind Machine“ – TRUE SOUNDS

For nearly 40 years, the Lower Saxony Youth Jazz Orchestra “Wind Machine” has been synonymous with energetic and versatile big band jazz. Over 400 concerts, several CD releases, and international concert tours have shaped the ensemble’s history. The young jazz talents, aged 13 to 25 and hailing from across the state, bring classics from the swing era to the stage alongside modern and contemporary compositions.

Under the direction of Uli Plettendorff, Wind Machine presents its current program, “True Sounds,” at HALLE 19, delving into diverse soundscapes ranging from tradition to modernity—dynamic, authentic, and genuine. Special musical moments, the youthful joy of playing, and a rousing big band sound define this concert evening.
