Even children can be first responders! Our partner in the nationwide “Pflasterpass” project, the “Kleinen Retter im Norden,” raises awareness among elementary school-aged children about dangers at school, during leisure time, and at home; strengthens their health literacy; and fosters a sense of self-efficacy.

Under the motto “I Can Help, Too!”, children are encouraged in a playful and fear-free way to take responsibility in difficult situations. At the end, they receive the “Band-Aid Passport” as a reward.
