Titel, Thesen, tolle Texte - Der Poetry Slam ist zurück
Poets of all kinds are welcome—even those no one knows, whose writings and poems have been buried in a drawer. We hope they’ll be taken out, dusted off, and recited. And of course, the audience is a must.
The Event:
Each poet has a maximum of 10 minutes. Afterward, every performer will be recognized. Later, there will be a vote to determine whose performance was the most popular.
Preparation: There’s an open sign-up list where anyone can add their name. The names go into a hat and are drawn by a “lucky draw master.”
A total of eight poets will perform. If more than eight have signed up, some names will remain in the hat. There will be another date to try again.
In two rounds, four poets will compete against each other in each round. A winner will be chosen from each round. Both winners advance to the final round with a short piece—no more than three minutes. There is a prize for the Poet of the Day.
