Who lived in Celle Castle? How does a flea trap work? What does “Lever & Coucher” mean? Did people even wash themselves back then?
All these questions—and many more—are answered during a fun and lively costumed tour of the Residenzmuseum. The tour is led by Anke Maecker, resplendently dressed in Baroque “regalia”; guests of all ages are welcome to assist her—and anyone who’d like to is even welcome to wear their own costume! True to the motto “Smart Through the Castle,” this journey through time features many exciting educational stops that will amaze not only the little ones but also the grown-ups…

Depending on availability and time constraints, the Baroque theater, the palace kitchen, and the Renaissance chapel may also be included in the tour.

Duration of the tour: approx. 60 minutes

Meeting point: At the ticket office in the palace
