An important local recreation area – rest, relaxation and nature at its most pure!

The Dammaschwiese (‘meadow’) in Celle is a green space for a day’s outing, as well as a relaxation and leisure area for the locals. The meadow can be flooded and in winter serves temporarily as a natural ice rink, which is floodlit until 9 pm.

Directly on the Dammaschwiese, you will also find Albrecht Thaer's former Manor house and the Healing Herb Garden.
