The marigold—also known as the golden flower—delights us not only with its radiant, bright colors. It is also a valuable medicinal plant for treating numerous skin conditions. Who hasn’t heard of calendula ointment?

In this workshop, we’ll take a closer look at this wonderful medicinal plant. After a short tour of the medicinal herb garden, we’ll harvest marigolds together and then make a cream or lip balm. You’ll learn what to keep in mind when making balms and how to find the right balance of natural ingredients. To top it all off, you can choose your favorite scent for the balm from a selection of essential oils.
