The oldest dated house in Celle

The oldest, dated half-timbered house in Celle’s Old Town is on the Heiligen Kreuz, number 26. It was built as a saddle-roofed, half-timbered building with a stepped gable projecting storey-by-storey and embellished with Gothic ornamentation.

The building now houses a shop.
